Our Modern Vintage Wedding Extravaganza is back in Manchester on October 28th, we’re hosting a fake wedding and you’re invited! On the day there will be loads of AMAZING suppliers with us to give you advice and inspiration for your big day, you can chat to them while sipping Prosecco (or tea!) and find out if they’re the right supplier to deliver exactly what you’re looking for to create the perfect wedding day… your way!
A Modern Vintage Wedding Extravaganza – Manchester October 28th 2018
On the day we will also be hosting our FAKE WEDDING where you can grab a seat and sit and watch our lovely couple get married in the infamous Victoria Baths – this will give you a chance to see some of the suppliers at work, and we have some exciting things in store. It will be a sea of celestial glamour with a nod to the Art Deco era and a little bit of vintage!
The Celebrant
The wonderful Charlotte Simpson will be ‘marrying’ our bride and groom in one of her bespoke and personalised ceremonies.
The Stylist
Florence and Vera will be making the already beautiful Victoria Baths even more beautiful with their styling of the fake wedding – with a modern vintage theme. I’m sure they will not disappoint!
The Flowers and Workshop
The extremely talented Charlotte from Artemisa Designs will be doing the bride and bridesmaid bouquets and florals for the styling of the fake wedding. She will also be hosting our FREE workshop on how to make DIY corsages for your wrist or lapel on the day- Email us at uniquebride@outlook.com to book your space! (limited spaces available)
The Dress
Stephanie Moran Couture will be bringing some modern vintage glamour to the fake wedding and will be dressing the beautiful bride for her walk down the aisle!
The Accessories
If you’re looking for beautiful bespoke hair accessories Glorious by Heidi will be showcasing her designs at the fake wedding, and will be there to chat to you on the day about how she can create a unique piece just for you!
The Suit
The Groom will be dressed by Vintage Suit Hire who offer a service for all budgets and have some really dapper and uber stylish suits available – Come and see if you like what you see!
The Details
Coco Vintage Hire are bringing the fun to the fake wedding with a glitter bar for you to get creative, and the best bit… a doughnut wall!!!
The Photographer
Behind the lens on the day and capturing the guests (you) and the lovely couple get marred will be the storytelling Matthew Grainger Photography, come and see him at work and chat to him about your big day!
The Videographer
Not only will we have a photographer but a videographer too! Neil Parry Films will be showcasing his skills and creating a wedding film of the couple!
The Hair and Makeup
The wonderful Sarah Whinstone will be getting the wedding party ready for the ceremony with live hair and make up- come a get some top tips for the big day and chat to her about what style your looking for – she may be the perfect fit!
Calligraphy and Signage
We have the lovely Laura from Lucky Nibs for the fake wedding too, she creates the most beautiful hand lettered signs, favours, table numbers and name places for the big day and she’ll be whipping us up a hand drawn wedding sign to welcome you all to the fake wedding!
