“We created this styled shoot to bring together a group of creatives and explore a vision that felt equal parts modern and romantic while embracing the rustic beauty of the venue’s surroundings. The inspiration was rooted in minimalism with a twist of high-fashion editorial. We were drawn to the idea of stripping things back to one core colour and exploring its full range—from soft, subtle tones to bold, saturated statements. Every detail—from the florals and fashion to the stationery and tablescape—was intentionally curated to highlight texture, depth, and mood within a singular palette. This shoot was not only a creative exploration but also for couples who want to break tradition and make bold, design-forward choices. When done thoughtfully, monochrome styling can feel incredibly fresh, romantic, and modern all at once.”

The Venue
“Crown Lodge is rustic yet modern with incredible views of the Wye Downs. With a choice of indoor and outdoor ceremonies and packages for all budgets. This venue is perfect for a couple who wants incredible images in an exclusive venue.”

Get The Look
“The goal was to demonstrate how a single colour can be used in various shades, tones, and textures to create a rich, harmonious environment without ever feeling flat or one-dimensional. Every detail, from the flowers and bridal party attire to the cake and ceremony backdrop, was meticulously planned to make the colour pop. Couples who want to implement this style can either go bold with one saturated colour or take a more subtle approach with lighter tones or pastels, depending on their vision. The beauty of monochrome is in its versatility!”
