The ECO Wedding Show arrives in Cheshire for spring 2024 at Holford Estate on March 17th.

 

About The ECO Wedding Show

Magpie Wedding embraces all things creative for your wedding day; from the flowers to the dress, from the photography to the styling. We want artisan, unique couples to enjoy discovering new styles for their day, in a relaxed environment – be it the blog, the ECO Wedding Show, BOND Bride magazine or the directory. We aim to showcase a creative luxe design but with an ethical edge. Our core values are inclusivity, well-being over weight loss, being eco-minded, supporting UK indie businesses and holding feminist values.

Our shows are more than an average wedding show. Each show has fabulous suppliers, useful talks and seminars to inform and experiences and workshops to inspire, the opportunity to go VIP, and above all, an ethos that celebrates our couples! So no teeth whitening, no weight loss, nothing that makes anyone feel anything less than beautiful.

The Show runs from 11 until 2, then for an hour afterward you are invited to The After Show for networking, fizz and training – a chance for you to learn and grow in a safe space.

 

 

How ECO do you have to be?

We are firm believers that a million people embracing being eco imperfectly is better than a few people doing it perfectly. Therefore we have designed a 5 point criteria for our businesses with everyone involved having to meet at least 3. This, therefore, means you may be less good at one aspect – but overall you are making a difference. And want to.

ECO also stands for Ethical, Creative and Off Beat – which is what we are all about here at Magpie Wedding.

 

The 5 points are:

SUPPORTING LOCAL – to bring down their carbon footprint, to support communities and small businesses here in the UK.

NO SINGLE-USE PLASTIC – reducing plastic use overall and cutting out single-use plastic

BEST RECYCLING PRACTICES – using recycled materials, and recycling afterward

CARING FOR WILDLIFE – adding a large vegan choice, not using chemicals that harm nature, and generally loving the planet

SUPPORTING OTHER ECO INITIATIVES – supporting charities, reducing waste, donating after the day, excellent working practices, and hand-making items that last forever…..

What you get when you exhibit with us

  • Use of table and chairs (please note that we try and avoid rows and rows of tables so prefer you to not use one)
  • Access to an electrical point if required
  • Free water, tea, coffee and biscuits (please bring your own mug!)
  • Approved exhibitor badge for website and socials
  • Opportunity to add sample or gift to VIP goody bag
  • Opportunity to deliver a talk or workshop to our couples
  • A social media post about you and your business on Instagram and Facebook in lead up to show (circa 75k followers)
  • A glass of bubbly (or delicious non-alcoholic alternative) at the start of The After Show
  • Access to The After Show – a session focussed on supporting suppliers with networking and learning opportunities.
  • Option to pay in instalments

 

Prices

A single stand for The Show and The After Show is £180.

You can pay via an instalment plan – this is £200. You will need to pay £100 at the point of booking and £100 4 weeks before the show.

 

3 Fledgling stands are available for wedding businesses less than 6 months old. These cost £100 and include entry to The After Show.

2 free charity stands are available.

Catering stands are £120 and include entry to The After Show.

 

 

Upgrades and Offers:

A single stand for The Show and The After Show plus a Supplier Spotlight blog worth £450 is £405 saving you £225.

A single stand for The Show and The After Show plus a 121 mentoring session with our director Kate Beavis worth £300 is £330 saving you £150.

Book two shows for £288 saving 20% (the local show to Cheshire will be Manchester)
