Inspiration
Justin says; “I love the Holidays and want people to feel inspired by the beauty they bring. By using elements of the holidays I wanted to give couples inspiration of a classic and to give you a timeless look for their wedding day. The venue we used is steeped in history and one of our oldest and most beautiful venues in South Dakota.
Styling
Justin says; “Although we wanted a timeless look we also wanted maximum impact so chose a style that was full of details and as welcoming as physically possible. We used beautiful warm hues with lot’s of textures to give us this feeling.”
The Details
“For the dress, we chose a classic look and I loved the feel of the lace appliques as they reminded me of the poinsettia plant, a traditional vibe and decoration when it comes to the festive season. We wanted something timeless and elegant, which we then followed through to the hair and makeup with a beautiful warm look with classic hair.”
“For the flowers, we wanted something dramatic and bold. This was achieved by using cascading evergreens mixed with white florals. The cake needed to be both refined and elegant, using a simple theme and design on this balanced out the rest of the more whimsical elements of the styling. We carried these dramatic, simple and whimsical elements through to the stationery. Stationery is such a big part of your day and can be such beautiful detail. When picking stationery, I always try to envision it as a beautiful flat lay, that way you can almost see how your styling will look on your wedding day and this helps you bring everything together and is a good indicator of your theme.”
