We catch up with photographer and shoot coordinator Masha Unwerth who tells us all about how the shoot at Hale Park was created…

“Inspired by the grand and rich history of Hale Park, our creative team dreamt up this romantic editorial shoot as an homage to the splendor of Palladian architecture and magnificent gardens over-viewing Avon Valley. Hale Park provided the perfect backdrop, a dream wedding location in the New Forest. Hidden into the north-west of New Forest with a dramatic sight of the River Avon and beyond, the beautiful estate has the church in the garden and exudes a sense of privacy and tradition.”

“The intimate ceremony took place in one of stately drawing rooms overlooking the lush gardens of the venue. The dinner table set by the fireplace was draped in white silk and adorned with floral centrepiece by Lilly and Myrtle. Gold, black and white accents were abundant throughout the editorial complementing the classic-inspired styling. A White Cake by Gifted Heart Cakes (embossed with the subtle pattern) added the subtlest geometric accents to the base layer of this three-tier dessert. Expertly-written calligraphy by Jodie Rose was the perfect reflection to the mood and gave a good impression of what was to come.”

“Our bride model, Neda took some time walking through the dreamy hallways of Hale Park catching the light on the elegant Wtoo by Watters Corbyn gown. The make-up artist, Becky Downton drew her inspiration around glamour and bridal glow. The make-up is delicate and idyllic, with dewy finish, a bronze eyeshadow with a subtle feline flick and berry toned lip colour, whilst the hair artist, Nadia Webber felt the two different hairstyles of traditional curls and sleek sectioned ponytail reflected the contemporary luxury and elegance of the moment and place.”

“As a photographer I was captivated by the fireplace portraits and stunning glass doors of Hale Park and though we had light showers on the day and autumnal fresh air our couple walked and run tirelessly under the vaulted arches of the green crypt overflowing with lush foliage and garden blooms which made this shoot so memorable to all!”
