“Shot in the beautiful grounds of the Orchards at Chesfield, Hertfordshire these rustic 16th century ruins provided a stunning backdrop for a autumnal wedding. This boho styled shoot utilises fall colour palettes of light orange and red tones, inspired by low October sunsets and the cosy feel of autumn evenings. Macrame and metallic pumpkins feature to contribute to the theme of the season in this free spirited display. The shoot offers ideas and inspiration for couples seeking a stylish autumnal vibe and showcases the artistry of the talented suppliers, from florals to photographs.”

Styling – Your Event Company

“We wanted to incorporate the natural surroundings and as the shoot was set in early autumn we decided on an “Autumnal boho” vibe, using lots of burnt orange , gold and macrame. As the planner I wanted to make the most of the beautiful grounds that the orchard has to offer, so chose to have three main areas for the shoot. The three main areas were; a table set up close to the ruins, an open tent within the orchards , and a cake table with a macrame backdrop. Each area embraced the natural elements and was styled beautifully by Alice from Fleur de Lace.

Bridal – White Wardrobe

“The stunning Enzoani dresses from the white wardrobe added detail to the romantic boho vibe”

Flowers – Willow and Blossom

“We opted for lots of texture fro this autumn bouquet, using warm tones blooms and mixed foliage. We added some hints of gold using trailing ribbons and sprayed eucalyptus”

Cake – Meadowsweet

“For the cake, I went with soft and subtle textured butter cream , dressed with a selection of foraged autumnal foliage. The linear design stood tall in a beautiful polished silver stand, complemented with a stunning boho set up from fleur de lace. The look came together embracing autumnal feel with gold pumpkins and deep toned flowers”

Hair – Kim Sandford Hairdressing

“Soft romantic wedding hair twists into a textured bun gives a care free relaxed boho vibe, going into 2020 I predict brides will continue to love these simple yet laid back hairstyles, hair down with strands twisted back to the messy bun or a ‘undone’ chignon will remain firm favourites. This style is finished off perfectly with beautifully accessories by Rachel Sokhal in warm tones to tie in with the autumnal feel.”

 

Make up – Michelle Nash Makeup

“Michelle of says “with an autumn wedding you can experiment with your make up artist to try out beautiful warm hues of birth orange and gold sparkles to tie in with this cosy time of year. In this look I have used a bronzed power as a warm eyeshadow and pressed gold glitter on top of the lid, then finished with a nude, peachy lip and cheek to keep the make up fresh and bridal”

Stationery – Soil and Soul

“My vision of ‘Autumnal boho’ for the stationary brought together both the rustic and contemporary sides of the bohemian look i used cotton rag paper to achieve those rough yet soft lines for the place cards. To contrast, the menu has an angular silhouette to nail that more modern feel each element introduced subtle glimpse of autumnal tones rust red, light brown and Mellow rose. The stationary was set amongst the beautiful table scape created by Fleur de Lace including golden palm leafs, painted pumpkins and burnt orange linens”
