Here are 6 ideas for content that you can use in June:
PRIDE MONTH (all month):
This is a popular month for brands talking about how they support and ally with the LGBTQ+ community but be careful you don’t look like you are jumping on this for 4 weeks only. Before you use it as part of your marketing ask yourself how you show up all year round. Take the time to review your website and ask yourself whether it is inclusive. If not put plans in place for change. Do this before you share rainbow flags.
WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY (5th):
Today share what you do as a company to help the environment. Take the time to share other businesses that you know or work with who are doing a great job. Create a carousel tips post or video with tips for your couples on what they can do that links back to your product or service.
NATIONAL TAILOR’S DAY (7th):
Perfect for menswear brands, share your products today! You don’t have to make suits to use this day as part of your content – remember everyone can talk about all wedding businesses as this way you will attract more couples.
FATHER’S DAY (18th):
From gifting to days out, Father’s Day is a key date in the calendar. Don’t wait until the 18th to share it though – start today! Create “round up” blogs of Father of the Bride/Groom gift ideas, create a competition where one Dad wins a prize, or simply share a Happy Father’s Day post on the day.
SUMMER SOLSTICE (21st):
Create a post linked to the summer – from summer wedding flowers to BBQ food, beautiful sunny weddings to beach bridal fashion. You could create a special offer or promotion to celebrate the start of summer too!
ROYAL ASCOT LADIES DAY (22nd):
Perfect for wedding hats and wedding fashion; share your WOW pieces today. You could also create a “How to choose the perfect Mother of the Bride hat” post or a roundup Stories series of your favourite looks from Ascot that would be amazing at weddings.
