With fresh mint and gold styling, this wedding inspiration at The Warren House Surrey, is chic, opulent and luxurious. The Italian Dream wedding stylists were the creators of the shoot, and with a team of talented suppliers they created the perfect mix of traditional luxury, fresh modern details with a few nods to vintage. Here we catch up with them and the team to find out all about how this inspiration at The Warren House was created…
“The concept of “Fresh Mint” was born back in December last year, I have noticed several gaps in the wedding industry where PoC wasn’t fully represented. In that way I wanted to develop a shoot that was inclusive and embracing the diversity – the colour Mint have been accurately chosen to highlight beautiful skin tones in a jubilation of contrast and energy – those minty bridesmaids dresses and the veil are just glimmering on our beautiful models! The result of this project was a marvelous achievement, based on the efforts of such great team work! Expertise and fun have been our secret for this successful result – I think it is just the perfect mix!”
Bridal gown – Luella’s Bridal
“Daring yet Delightful, Aime by Galina Couture uses carefully placed sheer lace to give just enough away. We adore the detailing on this dramatic silhouette – the stunning floral lace is embellished with seams of sequins to add a subtle shimmer as you move.
Cake – The Jo Harper Cake Company
“The wedding cake that was designed for this shoot was decorated with an eye-catching spray of beautiful handmade sugar flowers which mirrored the flowers used in the fresh floral displays. A gold torn edged marble wrap decorated the base tier adding some texture and colour to the cake. Mouth-watering salted caramel macarons also dressed the cake table, and coordinated personalised iced biscuits, (that make the perfect wedding favour) where arranged on the place settings. Every wedding day is unique, it expresses your style and personality, and your wedding cake helps to complete the look. It’s a WOW factor centrepiece, a real crowd pleaser, and should be nothing short of spectacular! I’m extremely passionate about helping couples create their dream wedding cake that’s not only beautiful but delicious too.”
Jewellery – Bish Bosh Becca
“ I was delighted to be asked by Jessica to provide jewellery for this gorgeous shoot. I was even more excited to be able to attend on the day. We choose gold to tie in with the colour scheme. I played around with different green gemstones to create simple floating teardrop necklaces and drop earrings to complement the draped style of the bridesmaids dresses. To finish off I added simple personalised Swarovski Crystal charm bracelets. The bride had a crystal teardrop floating necklace layered with a natural pearl pendant and drop earrings. A simple double stranded pearl bracelet completed her jewellery. At the last minute we realised the celebrant, Helen needed some jewellery. I again went for a layered look with modern biwa pearl and gemstone choker and gold pendants and locket.”

“We supplied our mint green washed linen napkins embroidered with the happy couples names in metallic gold- the green & gold tones fitted the palette perfectly to add a luxurious finish to the table”

Campervan – Buttercup Bus
“The pastel green and white classic camper van wedding car, is one of a fleet of seven pretty pastel VW Campers, available at Buttercup Bus Vintage Campers. They all come with floral décor, ribbons in your choice of colour and a wooden ‘Just Married’ sign for post ceremony photos. For those of you looking to really showcase the camper van at your wedding, they also offer camper van photo booths and camper van glitter bars – something that all your guests can enjoy! The company is based in Croydon, covering a 40 mile radius across London, Surrey, Sussex and Kent.”

“We are passionate about creating stationery that is exactly as our clients envisage, and love to share their joy in producing stationery that is unique to them and their event. In designing the stationery for this shoot I wanted the colour palette to speak for itself. I created stationery that complimented the bright colours with a modern take on classic design. I did this with beautiful textured paper and modern calligraphy to create a timeless invitation suite with perfectly matching menus, table plan, table numbers and place names.

Veil – Quinlan Couture Bridal
“When I heard about the brief for this shoot I knew it would be epic. I am a bridal designer and created the wedding veil from a very soft, silky tulle in the mint colour to coordinate with the bridesmaids and to compliment the bride’s dress. Colour is going to play a huge part in weddings in the near future. I was honoured to be asked to provide my services for this shoot and to a part of the incredible team, showing how beautiful colour can be. Every veil is designed, made and stitched by hand and can be delivered all over the world.”

“I was excited to see the mood board for the Fresh Mint shoot- I think the concept is beautiful. It’s very refreshing after so many boho, alternative styles to do something more classic. A lot of my brides tend to like textured hair but I do love a sleek, classic bridal hairstyle so it was good to show that I can also create sleek, classic hairstyles that will always look elegant and timeless!”
